Fouad Takla is Awarded Ecole Française de Damas

Fouad Takla Company has been awarded the construction of the New French School, located in Mezzeh, Damascus. This project consists of 28 one and two-floor buildings on 2.3 hectares of land. There are a total of 37 classrooms totalling 5,000 m2 and administration area of 7,000 m2. Designed by the famous French architect Yves Lion, the school will harness sustainable and environmentally-friendly technologies.
The new school will use less water than a conventional building by harvesting rainwater. It will also consume less energy be employing natural ventilation methods as well as installing solar panels. The company actively promotes the construction of such buildings in order to reduce the harmful impact of humans on our precious environment.
